  • HBO’s ‘Industry’ brought the party from the NYSE trading floor to a private screening in Brooklyn.
  • The after party featured caviar bumps, SternTao merch, and a DJ set from Charli XCX’s pal, The Dare.
  • Actors, influencers, and New York’s young literati drank and danced together. The vibes were immaculate.

To borrow a phrase from HBO’s “Industry,” you have to let a journalist fulfill her function. Here’s my not-so-typical Thursday evening from Wall Street to the warehouse district of East Williamsburg with the cast of the hit show.

3:30 p.m.: Went from the office to the red carpet to catch the cast of ‘Industry’ ring the closing bell

3:51 p.m.: There’s Harper (Myha’la), Yasmin (Marisa Abela), and showrunners Konrad Kay and Mickey Down!

While we wait for 4 p.m., chief news editor Steve Russolillo strikes up a conversation with Peter Tuchman, a trader on the NYSE floor known as the ‘Einstein of Wall Street’

4 p.m.: And there’s the bell!

Myha’la swung the mallet to close the day of trading.

7:30 p.m.: After a dinner break, I headed to Brooklyn for a private screening of the show’s fourth episode of season four …

… which was promptly followed by caviar bumps and Jell-O shots. This is ‘Industry,’ after all.

9:15 p.m.: Caught a selfie with Pierpoint and Tender’s own Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Marisa Abela)

And ran into influencer Kelley Heyer, who went viral for creating the ‘Apple’ dance in 2024.

Culture writers Josh Lora and Rose Dommu were also in attendance.

Josh is also known as Tell the Bees on Substack and TikTok, where he analyzes episodes of “Industry.” Rose writes Mall Goth on Substack and penned the novel “Best Woman.”

10 p.m.: House is starting to get pretty packed.

We were on our second DJ of the night.

10:30 p.m.: Grabbed a selfie with Sagar Radia, who plays Rishi Ramdani

11 p.m.: Spotted a guest sporting Lumi merch …

… But I also spotted some SternTao hats.

12 a.m.: Finished the night with a set from The Dare.
