  • Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on Tuesday.
  • Companies like Pixar and Grubhub capitalized on the fanfare.
  • Portillo’s, Krispy Kreme, and Olipop offered customers perks to celebrate.

Nearly two decades after Taylor Swift released “Love Story,” she finally said “yes.”

Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The billionaire popstar and NFL tight end began dating in 2023.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption read.

The post garnered over 30 million likes in under 24 hours, sent Swift to the top of Google Trends, and spurred near-instant fanfare from Swifties online.

It also presented a unique marketing opportunity for brands bold enough to seize the moment.

Olipop

Following the engagement news, prebiotic soda company Olipop offered customers a “Tayvis”-themed discount.

“He OLIPOP-ed the question… and it’s certainly not a paper ring 💍,” the caption said. “In honor of our fave English and Gym teachers tying the knot, we’re giving all our Team Tayvis fans out there an extra 13% off any subscription order… ✨FOREVER✨.”

The company added, “Because true love (and great soda) should last a lifetime. Cheers to the happy couple!”

Starbucks

Although Starbucks is in the middle of advertising its beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte, the coffeehouse chain took a brief intermission to acknowledge the engagement.

“are we supposed to keep talking about PSL like nothing happened???” the company said in a screenshot shared on Instagram.

In the caption, the company wrote, “the long list of starbucks lovers just got a +1.”

Auntie Anne’s

Auntie Anne’s, the pretzel shop franchise, is already eyeing their role in the couple’s nuptials.

“CAN I BE THE FLOWER GIRL,” an X post read.

Wendy’s

Whoever is behind Wendy’s social media team is clearly a video game fan.

“CAN’T BELIEVE WE GOT TRAVIS SWIFT BEFORE GTA 6,” an Instagram Stories post said.

Gamers are anxiously awaiting the release of “Grand Theft Auto 6,” which is expected to hit shelves in 2026.

Panera

Panera celebrated Swift and Kelce’s engagement with puns on Instagram.

“IT’S A LOAF STORY BABY JUST SAY YEAST,” the company wrote on Instagram.

This isn’t Panera’s first time using Swift to connect with customers. Earlier this month, after Swift announced her coming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast, Panera began offering the “Loaf Story” meal and related merchandise.

The Sims

In the Sims universe, a plethora of scenarios can play out, including Kelce popping the question.

The company’s official X account shared two Sims replicating the couple’s engagement in a classroom.

Pixar

Disney got in on the fun, too.

Pixar shared an image from the 2004 film, “The Incredibles,” on X featuring Bob and Helen Parr on their wedding day.

Netflix

The streaming and production company leveraged its own popular IP — “Bridgerton” — while posting about Swift and Kelce.

“Your English teacher and your Geography teacher are getting married,” Netflix’s UK & Ireland X account posted.

The account shared a photo of Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, who played Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton during season three.

Wembley Stadium

England’s Wembley Stadium congratulated the couple on Instagram by sharing footage from Swift’s “The Eras Tour.”

“Throwback to when @taylorswift performed Love Story under the arch last summer 🫶”

Congratulations Taylor & Travis ❤️,” the caption said.

Crumbl

Crumbl, the popular baked goods franchise, posted a simple Instagram post about Swift and Kelce’s engagement featuring two dreamy cookies.

Poppi

Prebiotic soda company Poppi used the hashtag “tayvis4ever” in an Instagram post celebrating the couple.

“crying screaming throwing up 😍😍😍💍💍💍 why does it feel like we just got engaged??? so excited for the happy couple,” the caption said.

The photo featured two Poppi cans with lyrics to Swift’s song, “So High School.”

“You know how to ball/I know Aristotle,” the lyrics said.

Publix

The grocery chain waded into the fanfare to offer its services for the wedding.

“We know a good place for the wedding cake,” the company said in an X post.

Grubhub

Grubhub made a playful Instagram post in response to Kelce and Swift’s announcement, writing, “Your bagel sandwich and your iced coffee are getting married.”

Buffalo Wild Wings

Like Publix and Auntie Anne’s, Buffalo Wild Wings is hoping to snag an invite to Kelce and Swift’s wedding.

“WE WILL CATER THE WEDDING,” the company said on X.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme offered a limited-time promotion on Tuesday following the announcement.

“FREE doughnuts for the class,” the company said on X. “Offer available 8/26 from 5 -7PM only at participating U.S. Krispy Kreme shops only and is subject to product availability. Credit: Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce.”

Portillo’s

Portillo’s referenced Swift’s song, “Paper Rings,” on Instagram.

“I’d marry you with an onion ring 🧅💍,” the caption read.

To commemorate the occasion, the hot dog franchise said its Perks members earned an exclusive deal.

“Because this love is golden, we’re giving Perks members FREE small Onion Rings* with a $1.13+ purchase,” the caption said.

New Heights

“New Heights” didn’t hesitate to celebrate the news either.

The official Instagram account shared a picture of Swift and Travis’ engagement with a shirtless Jason photohopped into the background.

“This pretty much sums up everyone’s reaction 😅,” the caption said.
