Maria Bartiromo’s time at Fox News and Fox Business is over.
Bartiromo is leaving after more than 12 years at the cable news giant, Fox said on Thursday afternoon.
Fox didn’t explain why it was parting ways with its star anchor.
“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” Fox said in a statement.
The company said that Bartiromo’s “Mornings with Maria” program on Fox Business will be replaced by “Mornings with FOX Business,” featuring rotating anchors.
Before joining Fox, Bartiromo spent more than 20 years at CNBC. She was nicknamed Wall Street’s “Money Honey.”
Bartiromo is now known for her close ties to President Donald Trump.
