Tracy-Ann Lim, the global chief media officer at JP Morgan Chase, said during this time of rapid change, CMOs need to understand the long-term implications of their decisions and their leadership. Lim was interviewed at the 2026 Cannes Lions Festival.
“You’re not just responsible for leading the change in this new marketing moment,” Lim said. “You’re responsible for developing and breeding the new age of marketing leaders.”
Lim says she relies on “the power of clarity” to guide her, even if that means admitting what she does not know. “That’s almost most powerful than declaring what you do.”
