My husband, toddler, and I all love Costco's snack selection.
  • As a Costco executive member, I visit the store regularly to stock up on snacks.
  • The store has great deals on many of my toddler’s favorites, including yogurt-coated strawberries.
  • I also always buy WildRoots trail mix, bananas, and potato chips.

Lately, I feel like all I’ve been doing is eating snacks. Between raising a toddler and surviving pregnancy, I’m eating six “meals” a day.

And I’ve got to say, Costco is fueling this life stage.

I’ve been an executive member for 11 years, which means I know my way around Costco’s snack aisles. From sweet, chocolaty treats to protein-packed goodies, these are my favorite finds.

I always stock up on nature's best pre-packaged snack: bananas.

Bananas are the life force of this family. Between all three of us, we eat somewhere between three and five a day.

At this point, it’s rare that we leave Costco without another bunch of bananas. Plus $1.99 for a large bunch (about 10 bananas) feels like a great price per unit for a healthy snack like this.

Costco sells my favorite trail mix.

Hearty, easy to grab, and especially delicious, WildRoots Coastal Berry trail mix has all the delicious ingredients a trail mix should have and none of the extras I don’t really like.

A surplus of raisins? Nope. Peanuts? Nada! With almonds, cashews, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, and yogurt chips, I couldn’t have crafted a more perfect trail mix myself.

On a normal day, it’s a steal at around $10.49 for 26 ounces of trail mix. Last time it was on sale, my partner and I both stocked up, so we’re sitting on a small dragon’s treasure trove worth of Coastal Berry deliciousness.

Amara's smoothie-melt snacks are a big hit with my toddler.

My toddler is obsessed with Amara’s organic smoothie melts. He can put down a few bags in a sitting, so it’s vital I buy these in bulk.

The ingredient list is simple, the melts are mess-free, and the snack-pack sizes are perfect for an on-the-go energy boost.

This week, a box of 20 pouches was on sale for $12.59 at my local Costco, but even at the usual $17.99 price point, I’ve found these to be a great deal.

Yoggies are another great on-the-go toddler snack.

Diversity is the spice of life, and toddlers exemplify this to the extreme. I always keep a few bags of Nature’s Garden probiotic, yogurt-coated strawberries on hand, for when they’re the chosen “snack of the week.”

My nearest Costco sells these in a pack of 30 for $13.49, so it’s easy to stay stocked and refill the pantry as needed.

Coconut crispy rolls are an all-day dessert.

Lately, our family’s been craving cookies, but in an attempt to try “healthy” desserts, we’ve switched to Tropical Fields’ organic crispy coconut rolls.

At $8.89 a bag, they’re an affordable and delicious indulgence that we enjoy throughout the day. For those with allergies, these are gluten-free and dairy-free, so I feel good pulling these out when other kiddos are visiting us.

Chips are another household staple.

I have to admit I’m not a huge chip person myself, but we’re a multigenerational household, and my mother-in-law is a major chip snacker. She loves trying new flavors, and Costco’s perfect for that.

There are always a few new flavors down the “crunchy aisle,” plus our standard favorites. This week, we were eyeing Hawaiian Brand’s kettle-style potato chips. We haven’t seen the sweet-and-spicy pineapple flavor before, and can’t wait to try it.

Hershey's nuggets stay hidden from our toddler.

There’s nothing quite as satisfying as snacking on chocolate, and I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with the Hershey’s Nuggets assortment.

A bag of these doesn’t last long in our house — even with us keeping it hidden from the littlest family member!
