President Donald Trump isn’t the only American leader visiting the Middle East this week.

The president was joined on Tuesday at the US-Saudi Investment Forum by top Wall Street and Silicon Valley executives, including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

In the first bilateral overseas trip of his second term, the president visited the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Tuesday, where he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and spoke at the forum.

In addition to Saudi Arabia, the president is also scheduled to visit Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in the hope of securing major new deals with the oil-rich Persian Gulf countries.

The White House announced on Tuesday that it had secured a commitment from Saudi Arabia to invest $600 billion in the US, a pledge the crown prince first suggested in January.
