After a season of bold gameday outfits, Taylor Swift kept things simple on Sunday at the 2025 Super Bowl.
She traveled to New Orleans for the big game and attended with friends and family to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
If you were expecting the “Tortured Poets Department” musician to wear a flashy outfit, however, you could have missed her. Swift stood in the stands wearing an understated look, including a white bodysuit, denim jeans, and over-the-knee boots.
That said, there was more to her outfit than meets the eye.
In addition to sentimental symbolism, Swift’s subtle ensemble retails for over $60,000.
When Swift first entered the Caesars Superdome — where the Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22 — she was photographed wearing a white $3,253 double-breasted blazer from Saint Laurent.
The outerwear was draped over a $1,300 white bodysuit from Alaïa and crystal-covered shorts in a light-wash denim.
She also wore a pair of white $1,120 leather boots from the brand Paris Texas and carried a $990 red leather purse from Givenchy.
As has become custom for Swift, she also made sure she was dripping in jewels.
Most noticeably, the musician wore the T-charm leg chain she debuted at the 2025 Grammys as a statement necklace. Swift and Lorraine Schwartz co-designed the ruby-adorned piece.
She donned two ruby rings from Effy Jewlrey, originally retailing for $12,495 and $5,195. Swift also added a ruby bracelet from the same brand, a $4,350 Logan Hollowell hand chain, and a $32,200 Panthère watch from Cartier.
It’s also become customary for the songwriter to infuse symbolism into her outfits, from red-carpet looks to streetwear ensembles.
Super Bowl LIX was no different.
As fashion writer Sarah Chapelle wrote on her Swift-focused blog, the simple Super Bowl outfit may have been a nod to the first outfit Swift ever wore to a Chiefs game.
In September 2023, she made her WAG (wives and girlfriends) debut in a white Dôen tank top and black denim shorts from Ksubi.
Her latest outfit was basically a more glamorous and high-fashion take on the same style.
Rumors have circulated that the 2025 Super Bowl may have been Kelce’s final game in the NFL.
If that turns out to be true, Swift’s expensive, sentimental outfit was the perfect choice to conclude the football chapter of their love story.
