Taylor Swift began the final US leg of The Eras Tour this weekend, and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has seized the opportunity to capitalize on the pop star’s recent endorsement of Kamala Harris.

The singer-songwriter, who said she was officially backing Harris in the election race last month, began a three-night run of concerts at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on October 18.

The same day, the DNC launched its “I Will Vote” campaign, targeting youth voters in battleground states ahead of the November 5 election.

Harnessing “Swiftie” lexicon, the campaign includes a Snapchat filter where voters can declare they are “fearless” for several issues that Harris has championed, including reproductive rights and climate action.

The DNC said the campaign would begin with a mobile billboard on a boat near the Hard Rock Stadium, billboards across Miami, and the Snapchat filter, which it said would be available to users in battleground states.

“This election will determine the future for young voters, from student loan debt relief and economic opportunity to whether they have fewer rights than their grandmothers did,” Rosemary Boeglin, DNC communications director, said in a statement.

“We’re not taking any vote for granted, and we’ll continue to make sure young voters across the country know everything that’s at stake and the stark contrast between Vice President Harris’ New Way Forward and Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda,” she added.

It’s not apparent whether Swift was involved with the initiative. A representative for the singer did not respond to a request for comment from Business Insider, which was sent outside regular working hours.

While celebrity endorsements are typically unlikely to have too much of an effect on voting, Swift’s huge fanbase could have a sizable impact.

Swift’s Instagram endoresment of Harris drove more than 400,000 users to the voting information site vote.gov over the following day, according to multiple reports.

In the post, Swift described Harris as a “steady-handed” leader and said she was “heartened and impressed” by her selection of Walz as running mate.

“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make,” she added.
